Peptides are sensitive to heat, moisture and light. Correct storage is a condition of reproducible research results.
Powdered peptide (lyophilisate)
The powdered, dried peptide (the lyophilisate) is reasonably stable. Keep it cool, in a sealed container, away from light. For longer storage, freezing is used (−20°C).
The solution after reconstitution
Once dissolved, a peptide is less stable. Keep the solution refrigerated (2–8°C) and use it in line with your research plan — the shorter it is stored, the better for the quality of the compound.
Refrigeration during delivery
SWISS LAB packs shipments under refrigerated conditions so the material reaches the laboratory in a state matching its declared purity.
